Safe Living Technologies Inc. declares that the calibration of this instrument is performed by comparison with reference standards, or standard measuring equipment which are calibrated by the calibration laboratory of “Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd”. This measuring equipment is traceable to national measurement standards maintained by Canada’s Institute for National Measurement Standards (INMS) for the realization of the physical units according to the International System of Units (SI).

How does this meter relate to 5G?

As the rollout of the 5G cellular network continues, so does our exposure to RF radiation. It has become increasingly common for individuals to experience a number of negative health effects related to EMF and RF exposure.

As always, detection is the first step in protecting yourself from these potentially negative health concerns. Right now, there is a lot of discussion about the frequency bands used in this network, and SLT wants to make sure you are informed and protected.

    Practical 5G High Band Tester

    This is the only practical option found to test the millimeter wave frequencies. We found nothing in our neighborhood and a few small jumps down the highway areas- which is about what was expected. There is nothing else on the market I think a homeowner could buy to check the higher power ranges of 5g RF signals, except maybe a spectrum analyzer which would be tens of thousands of dollars. This was used in conjunction with the Safe and Sound Pro 2 (which checks the lower ranges) for a complete assessment of our house. We assumed 5G high band wasn't here, but it's impossible to know without testing. The maps online are inaccurate, antennas well hidden in places and getting the information is sketchy at best. You have to test to know.

    Enfin un appareil grand public pour mesurer la 5G millimétrique

    Je salue la performance de Safe Living Technologies pour avoir conçu et fabriqué un appareil qui permet d'évaluer la 5G millimétrique, et ceci à un prix relativement abordable ((1000$ avec une bonne promo) . A ces fréquences (20 GHz à 40 GHz), la fabrication devient complexe et donc coûteuse. C'est donc un exploit qu'il faut saluer. Le prix sera quand-même dissuasif pour le grand public, mais très accessible pour un professionnel ou un amateur passionné. Attention, on se contente d'évaluer comme avec des diodes de couleur, mais ce sera très instructif pour savoir si et comment on se fait "griller" ! A noter aussi le grand intérêt d'avoir prévu une antenne relativement omnidirectionnelle et une autre directive. La première quantifie quand la seconde identifie. A noter aussi l'intelligence d'avoir prévu la possibilité d'insérer un atténuateur (: 100) qui permet de mesurer x 100 en puissance ou x 10 en champ électrique. L'atténuateur est un DG20 Gigahertz Solutions, marque éprouvée. Les niveaux mesurables deviennent alors énormes et non sans danger pour l'opérateur. Protection hautement recommandée aux forts niveaux (avec une combinaison efficace à ces fréquences). Il vaudrait mieux éviter de s'exposer à de très forts niveaux. Conclusion : Bravo à Safe Living Technologies.

    it's good detector as it helped understand that the cell towers in the area do not yet emit mm-waves. very strong mm-wave readings were found with automated doors such as sliding doors for offices or shopping centers/stores as well in car parking entrances and exits. it helped understand that the heart problems I felt in the past at a seminar hotel were due to the strong radiation at the hotel's automated main entrance doors. the meter is very good but operation of the meter with its external antenna and push buttons is a bit less user friendly than with the Safe And Sound Pro2.

    Excellent Meter - excellent support

    I am so grateful for the new safe and sound pro 20-40 GHz meter! I was able to find a problem that has persisted for the last 13 years unbeknownst to me with my mother's home security system which had motion detectors using MM waves in this range and I was able to quickly identify this problem and replace these with passive Infared motions. It is so frustrating that the RF motions were emitting such a high signal constantly but with my new meter and Zac's keen help I was able to resolve this. Never expected to find this type of exposure from 13 year old tech...Rob M was super helpful as well. Very committed to helping people stay safe! Thank you for your help and support solving RFR mysteries !

    We had watched the demo versions in California with both the horn and the stub antenae. We didn't think we needed the horn and this is certainly the case now in our small relatively remote setting in BC.There is only one cell provider and one fibre

    Until now we have not had a meter available that that can measure 5G RF frequencies. This meter is of high quality and they have gone to great lengths to manufacture such a professional meter. I have used it to identify 5G signals around town and am now using this mmWave Meter in tandem with the S&S Pro 2 to get a full picture of potential microwave radiation in a given area. The option to use different antennas depending on a semi-omni or more directed pattern (for easier locating fo a 5G emission source) is also a valuable option. Much gratitude for Safe Living Technologies and their dedicate efforts to bring this meter to market. I highly recommend this meter and the S&S Pro 2 for anyone that wants to measure and reduce their exposure to harmful microwave radiation.
