Electromagnetic emissions (also known as electromagnetic radiation (EMR) or electrosmog) are present inside all homes and offices. In this course you will learn techniques for identifying sources and measuring exposure to AC electric fields, AC magnetic fields, radio frequency radiation, radioactivity, radon, and terrestrial radiation. Common examples of manmade electromagnetic radiation in or near the average home are: power lines, cellular phones, Wi-Fi, microwave ovens cordless phones, etc. These can potentially interfere with and disrupt our inner biological processes. This comprehensive course covers testing protocols, health effects, and remediation of electromagnetic emissions throughout 11 online classes.

This Building Biology Institute 5-day on-site in person seminar will lead you under the expert guidance of co-instructors Larry Gust and Rob Metzinger on an exploration of all the wireless technology and electromagnetic radiation issues and toxic environmental stressors inside and outside a dwelling or commercial or public building that are harmful to human health. Join Larry, Rob, and their dedicated team of lab leaders (one lab leader for every five students to ensure you receive expert hands-on training in meter use and interpretation) at our new lakefront venue, Kanuga Retreat & Conference Center, in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

BBEC Professional Certification will thoroughly equip you with practical, real-world, hands-on experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating or eliminating pollutants, airborne toxins, and electromagnetic emissions in homes, schools, offices, and commercial buildings. You will also be an expert in prevention, certified to advise homeowners, as well as architects, builders, inspectors, engineers, and medical professionals in methods and practices that create and maintain an ecological and environmentally healthy home or commercial building. Throughout the program we will concentrate on teaching you the skills needed to make a genuine positive impact in your community and in the world at large.
Successfully completing this group of online courses and hands on seminars will allow you to identify, assess and mitigate not just electromagnetic emissions but airborne toxins and pollutants as well. This skill set will enable you to create and maintain an environmentally healthy home or commercial building. You will have up to 2 years to complete this program.

EMRS Professional Certification will thoroughly equip you with practical, hands-on experience and proven real-world solutions for identifying, assessing, and mitigating or eliminating electromagnetic emissions (EMR, EMFs) in homes, schools, offices and commercial buildings. You will also become an expert in prevention-certified to advise homeowners, home buyers, architects, builders, inspectors, and engineers in the methods and practices that create and maintain a minimized presence of electromagnetic fields in homes and commercial buildings. Throughout the program we will concentrate on teaching you the skills needed to make a genuine positive impact in your community and in the world at large.
This program focuses on the assessment, mitigation and elimination of electromagnetic emissions in homes, schools, offices, and commercial buildings. This certification is primarily focused on the electromagnetic radiation but also touches on other aspects of Building Biology. You will have up to 2 years to complete this program.
