The first of its kind, the Safe and Sound Micro RF Detector is wearable wristband detector. An innovative product of our own design and engineering, this device will notify you with a small vibration when environmental wireless radiation exceeds your desired exposure level. Moreover, with a push of a button, a color-coded light display will indicate the intensity of surrounding exposure.

There are three button actions that work when the unit is unplugged from USB. These button actions work identically no matter what the unit is doing. There are no multiple functions to learn.
There is one USB action - when the unit is plugged in, the button is disabled and the unit charges and displays battery level. This happens no matter what the unit is doing when you plug in power.

- Click once and wait ~ 0.75 seconds for action to take place

2. Multiple Clicks (each click must happen within 0.75 seconds of the previous click)
- Click button sequence -> All LEDs come on for 1 sec -> RF Vibrate Threshold Displayed while unit vibrates the same number of times that button was clicked -> All LEDs go off and unit is in "LED off monitor mode"
- Works identically in ANY mode
- The LED color-coded light display identifies eight exposure levels:
Green = 10 µW/m² (two clicks)
Yellow = 100 µW/m² (three clicks)
Orange = 1,000 µW/m² (four clicks)
Red = 10,000 µW/m² (five clicks)
Red slow blink = 100,000 µW/m² (six clicks)
Red fast blink = 1,000,000 µW/m² (seven clicks)
No vibration (eight clicks)

EMI monitor
Hard to understand how it works but once you get it, it is a good tool to prevent EMI high exposure.

Safe and Sound Micro 2.1 Wearable RF Detector
I desperately wanted to order this but was skeptical that I really did not need it. Well the skepticism is gone as it has been so enlightening to have this meter on vibrate around other people and finding hot spots and being able to ask for cell phone etiquette (eg sitting at dinner for extended time with a cellphone hidden in a pocket I would not have known was radiating). Also, without it I would not have realized that where my dog bed was located on the floor directly above the router and needed relocation for the health of pets sleeping there. One tip - I would try a leather band next time as the silicone one is awkward to put on with my small wrist.

Micro RF meter
I have the original Micro RF meter and have only good things to say about it. Previous to purchasing the Micro I relied on the Safe and Sound Pro II but the Micro takes things to a different level. I have it set to vibrate which I can hear across the room if it is not on my wrist. The first thing I learned from the Micro is that EMF is not steady, it's a wave. Walking around a public library seeking a table in proximity to a wall outlet caused me to realize there were hot and cold spots in the room. Thank you, Micro, for showing me the (relatively) "safest" place to sit. Wearing Micro in a large busy hotel was hugely informative concerning the environment itself and which areas were hotter than others. (The entire environment was unhealthy and in the hotel room I unplugged everything...TV, wifi, cordless phone.) The Micro has upped my awareness enormously. When standing in proximity to someone and Micro vibrates, I know s/he has a live phone on them and I take a step or 2 back. Micro is a game changer because it invisibly alerts the wearer who then can take evasive maneuvers as desired. Excellent!
