Radio to aid in detecting dirty electricity / EMI. Tune the Radio to a dead air AM station, and it will “hum” or “buzz” near device(s) emitting EMI in the AM radio range (522 – 1620 kHz). Often used at the main electrical panel to identify circuit sources.
