16. TSCA CERTIFICATION ON NON-HAZARDOUS PAINT AS DECLARED BY THE MANUFACTURER:
By purchasing Safe and Sound Pro-Eco Paint or YShield HSF54 Paint from Safe Living Technologies, you authorize Fedex Trade Networks to use the TSCA form (Found Here) completed by Safe Living Technologies Inc.: 70 Watson Pkwy S, Unit #6, Guelph, ON, N1L 0C3, Canada.
17. INTERNATIONAL DUTIES AND TAXES CHARGES:
All imported shipments may be subject to duties and taxes charges. These charges are assessed by the customs authorities of the destination country. The rate of duty may be influenced by the following factors: Value of the goods, Country of Manufacture, Trade Agreements, The Harmonized System Code (HS Code), and Reason for Export. Payment of these charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
18. RETURN POLICY:
Important: Prior to purchase, if you are unsure which item is correct for your desired application, please contact us and we will be happy to help you decide upon the best product to fit your needs.
All measuring devices and off-the-shelf items may be returned to us in new condition within 30 days of purchase; however, a 20% restocking fee is applied to all returns. Shipping fees are not refundable. Please note that items such as paints, special orders, and products purchased in lengths such as films, fabrics, mesh and foils are not returnable.
Unfortunately, due to hygiene and health risks, opened/unsealed/installed bed canopies and other Swiss Shield fabric products are not returnable. Safe Living Technologies reserves the right to refuse any return of any product, or to inspect the item condition upon arrival before continuing with the customer’s return and refund request.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product(s) you would like to return. We will respond with instructions on how to return product(s) from your order.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of sending your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
In the rare case that a product is damaged or defective upon arrival (or shortly after), please provide pictures and/or video(s) showing the product’s condition. The receiver would be responsible for shipping the unit back to us, and will be reimbursed in full for the shipping fees. After this, we would ship a replacement unit at no charge.
All Gigahertz Solutions meters come with a 2 year limited warranty. All other meters have either a 1 or 2 year manufacturer's product warranty, as stated on their respective product pages. Meter issues that spontaneously arise (i.e., those not inflicted by the user) are covered by the manufacturer's product warranty. Note that the product warranty does not cover user-related physical damage, water damage, etc.
If you have purchased an item from one of our distributors, please contact them directly for information on their return policy/process.
NOTE: SLT is not responsible for return shipping costs and customs fees.
