All measuring devices and off-the-shelf items may be returned to us in new condition within 30 days of purchase; however, a 20% restocking fee is applied to all returns. Shipping fees are not refundable. Please note that items such as paints, special orders, and products purchased in lengths such as films, fabrics, mesh and foils are not returnable.
Unfortunately, due to hygiene and health risks, opened/unsealed/installed bed canopies and other Swiss Shield fabric products are not returnable. Safe Living Technologies reserves the right to refuse any return of any product, or to inspect the item condition upon arrival before continuing with the customer’s return and refund request.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product(s) you would like to return. We will respond with instructions on how to return product(s) from your order.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of sending your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
In the rare case that a product is damaged or defective upon arrival (or shortly after), please provide pictures and/or video(s) showing the product’s condition. The receiver would be responsible for shipping the unit back to us, and will be reimbursed in full for the shipping fees. After this, we would ship a replacement unit at no charge.
All Gigahertz Solutions meters come with a 2 year limited warranty. All other meters have either a 1 or 2 year manufacturer's product warranty, as stated on their respective product pages. Meter issues that spontaneously arise (i.e., those not inflicted by the user) are covered by the manufacturer's product warranty. Note that the product warranty does not cover user-related physical damage, water damage, etc.

Our Return Procedure:
- Prior to shipping, please call or email us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization “RMA” number and shipping instructions. A credit will not be issued without an RMA number.
- Please pack the item carefully, for safe transit, in its original packaging. If original packaging is not available, ensure appropriate packaging is used and pack tightly.
- Select a method of shipment that provides a tracking number.
- When completing the shipping document, please indicate “Return of Goods”.
- Declare the value of goods being returned and insure appropriately.
- Enclose your original invoice.
- Include a brief written description for the reason of return.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
