Our standard EMF/RF Shielding Paint for interior and exterior application based on a high quality pure-acrylic binder. This shielding paint offers a perfect compromise of excellent attenuation, high water resistance and ecological.

Installation Notes:

Grounding is recommended and is to be completed by a licensed electrician. Be sure to follow all local electrical codes and standards for grounding. The National Electrical Code does not address applying conductive paint to walls. However, because this product does not carry a UL or CSA listing, some electrical inspectors may not be comfortable approving the installation. An electrical engineer may be required to certify the installation. Check with your local inspector first. To ensure an adequate ground connection, we recommend using the YShield Grounding Kit GS2/GS3(interior) or GF4(exterior) and GSX Conductive Tape. Step by step instructions for the mounting of the Grounding Kit are included.

CAUTION: This paint is electrically conductive. All painted areas must be grounded by a licensed electrician. All connections should be visually inspected and tested and comply with local electrical codes. In all shielded areas / shielded rooms a personal protection circuit-breaker should be installed. Always switch off power supply before starting to perform shielding work and before application of shielding paint. For ground only use YShield Ground-Connection ES/EB. Avoid contacting ground at other points.

NOTE: As there are various paints available worldwide, we can never give a guarantee for specific combinations. In addition, many purely mineral paints and ecological paints adhere poorly on the graphite surface of our shielding paints. Our paint has a very low VOC content and others may as well but they still may not be compatible with an environmentally sensitive person.  If this is a concern,  we would suggest testing various paints being used for environmental compatibility on their own and combined together in an small area before starting your paint project.

    Great paint. Really protects from RF. Easy on. Almost no VOC smell. (I am MCS)

    Needed to paint the exterior of my house due to having a 4G and 5G antenna placed within line of sight and 200-300 feet. Applied 2 coats on james hardie fiber-cement board siding. Before application, readings inside were around 15,000 microwatts per sq meter. After application of the two coats readings were around 800. Most likely due to leakage from the roof/ceiling. Very good product. Grounding is important, as well as keeping in mind that it is much thicker than regular paint, but also washes more easily from hands than regular paint.
